This is a compact temperature-controlled induction heating melting furnace with complete accessories. Such a complete system includs the Induction Heater, Quartz Tube with Flanges & Valves, Graphite Crucible & Refractory Assembly, Water Chiller, Vacuum Pump, and Mobile Cart. It is an ideal tool for growing crystal, melting and sintering new metallic alloys with melting point < 1700ºC (under vacuum or protective gas environment).

Application: To Melt Copper Alloy

· Equipment preparation:

Use a 15 kW vacuum induction furnace to ensure that the equipment and its ancillary systems (such as cooling system and vacuum pump) are in normal working condition.

· Material selection:

Copper, lead and zinc are selected as raw materials, with a ratio of 70% copper, 20% zinc and 10% lead.

· Loading:

Put the clean raw materials into the quartz chamber crucible layer by layer, ensuring that the maximum loading amount is not exceeded.

· Vacuuming:

Start the vacuum pump and reduce the pressure inside the chamber to 10⁻² mbar to reduce oxidation.

· Heating process:

Set the heating temperature to 1200°C, start the induction heating system, monitor the temperature change, and ensure uniform melting.

· Testing:

During the melting stage, samples are taken at regular intervals to test the alloy composition and melt uniformity.

· Casting:

After the melt reaches the set temperature, turn off the heating system and vacuum system, and pour the molten alloy into the mold.

· Cooling and post-processing:

After the casting is cooled, take it out for mechanical processing to ensure that the physical properties of the alloy meet the requirements.
